So two of my good friends dropped by to drop off some books they picked up for me.
The Villians guide to better living by Newil Zawacki. This is a fairly ligh humored book probably good for leaving out on the coffee table, some of the comments on the work environment are pretty funny.
It has some suggestion interview questions, I'll only quote the one I enjoyed the most:
"Do you work well with others?" A proper response would be "As long as they are my mindless, terrified slaves". It shows a working knowledge of the corporate world.
The book isn't likely to win literay aclaim however it's got a few good laughs in my opinion.
Then there is the Rober Rankin book
The Hollow Chocolate bunnies of the Apocalype
It's a fairly light read in some ways and fairly deep in others. I enjoyed this one quite alot and the subject is unique in my experiance. If you're looking for something very different you may enjoy this one alot.
Thanks to my friends for thinking of me even if I am an ungrateful bastard who doesn't make enough time to socialize.
